18 Gauge 9 gallon pot with two welded 1/2" female couplings and lid
Perfect for using a 1/2" ball valve on the outside and a bazooka screen on the inside
Use the other coupling for a thermometer!

Pot measures approximately 13 5/8" x 13 5/8" with the spigot 1.5" from the bottom to the center of the hole.

Approximately 1.15 gallons to cover the first weld; 3.9 gallons to cover the 2nd weld

The pots are wonderful, the lids are a little cheap - Hey, we are boiling in them, who needs a stinkin lid anyhow?

As a side note - these are $79 pots - please do not expect a $259 Polarware
Some small dents or nicks are expected.

Rating Solid Pot at reasonable price
I have two of these. I use one with the false bottom as a mash tun. The other I installed a 3500 watt heating element and turned it into a hot liquor tank. There are a few surface blemishes on the pots, and there are also some buff marks near the welds. This does not affect the functionality. Great pot for the money. - Reviewed by on 6/2/2014
Rating Works
The pot seems sturdy enough, still unsure if I want a triclad bottom but I figure I don't brew that often to justify it. The (cheaper) thermometer works fine - just be aware that you need about 4gal to cover it (brewing 5 gal Kolsch's for summer suggests ~3 gal for mash). Welds look good and don't leak. Enough room for full boils at 5.5 gal. Valve sticks out pretty far though. Only complaint is the threaded couplings have very short threads. They do not leak but you feel like they should go in further (maybe 1/3 in?). Well worth it on sale. - Reviewed by on 5/19/2014
Rating Great Pot!
I recently ordered this pot with the stainless valve and AIH thermometer after returning an 8 gallon Bayou Classic pot (purchased from another company) because I thought it looked cheaply made for the high price and had a weldless ball valve and no thermometer. I brewed a batch of Belgian Wit in this one the other day and it worked fantastic! This was my first full boil brew. The size is perfect with no worries of boilover at least with this batch. Quality was better than I expected although it did have a couple very minor scratches on the exterior. The welds are done very nicely. Can't go wrong for the price and it should last a lifetime! - Reviewed by on 3/18/2014
Rating Fantastic pot, great welds, non-consistent coupling
Okay I ordered two of these, they look great. The lids I got are good for what they will be used for. The welds look great, no breaks and very neat job. The coupling they welded is inconsistent. The first one I opened I was able to get my thermal well in no problem. The second kettle I make it to half of the coupling then gets stuck. I can't feel any burs or odd threads. I did try the other well to make sure I didn't get a weird one. It's the coupling. No worries though, I'll come up with something. It's still a great looking and feeling kettle, can't wait to use it. - Reviewed by on 3/12/2014
Rating Overall good quality with a couple minor issues
Pot steel and welds were very nice but threads for ball valve and thermometer were not tapped far enough through. Ball valve brass nipple broke off in threads. Also some leakage through bottom port due to threads being too short. Overall good quality. - Reviewed by on 2/3/2014
Rating Great Deal! Great Brew Pot!
Thanks for the great deal on the kettle and the order processing time was much quicker than I thought it would be. Can't wait to put it to good use this upcoming weekend. First all-grain attempt. - Reviewed by on 1/21/2014
Rating A Lot Easier
Ran my second batch of beer, the temp gauge and ball valve sure do make things go a lot easier. I would buy from you again, your prices are hard to beat. Thank you. - Reviewed by on 5/1/2013
Rating Works Fantastically
I was very happy with my purchase. I love the 2 weld 9 gallon kettle. It works fantastically and makes my brew day run so much smoother. All of the welds were great and the valve and thermometer work like a charm. Thanks for the great service. - Reviewed by on 3/12/2013
Rating Worked Out Perfectly
The results of the Michigan Renaissance festival just came out. I was lucky enough to win the English Brown Ale category that YOU sponsored. That was the first beer I brewed with my new 9 gallon pots and Brewmometers I bought from you this Spring! It worked out perfectly! - Reviewed by on 9/27/2012
Rating Made Things So Easy
I received my pot and ingredients 2-3 days after I ordered! Super fast shipping. Two weeks ago I brewed my batch using the new pot and loved it, it made things so easy having the temp probe and valve. It was my 6th batch brewed and definitely my most enjoyable brew day. Thanks for the great service. - Reviewed by on 4/19/2012
