Rating Great product, works perfectly for a 5 gallon batch

Running ice water through it, this cools the wort to ~70 degrees in just under 20 minutes. Very happy with the production and build quality. - Reviewed by on 2/19/2014

I purchased this from AIH and was extremely pleased at how great this worked. Today I used it to cool 4 gallons from 220 to 60 degrees in about 10 minutes... - Reviewed by on 2/4/2014

Q: What is the benefit of the compression fittings as opposed to the regular model with hoses attached the copper with clamps? Trying to decide which model to buy?
Asked by: - 2/26/2014
A: The compression fittings are less likely to leak when you are chilling the wort. Making sure that your 5 gallons will stay 5 gallons.

A: These are hand twisted, so there will be some inconsistencies, but typically they are around 10'' in diameter.

Q: I am interested in your 25' wort chiller with compression fittings. Can you tell me how tall the inlet and outlet ends are?
Asked by: - 11/27/2013
A: We twist these by hand, so there are going to be some inconsistencies. Typically they are between 12'' and 15'' tall. There is room for play though, you could stretch them out a bit more, just be careful not to kink the copper.
