Used & Pressure Tested
Ball Lock
Includes Pressure Relief Valve Lid

(As of 2-18-2014 )
(We are throwing in a set of O-rings with every purchase of this keg.)

Pressure tested 5 gallon, stainless steel, cornelius style tank. These tanks are guaranteed to hold pressure.  25" tall and 8.5" diameter.  Tanks will show normal wear and tear. May have stickers on kegs.
May also have syrup residue in tanks as we only dump them.

Kegs include the o-rings and poppits that were installed when we received the tanks. We will often change an o-ring or poppit to get the tank to hold pressure. If you would like to have new o-rings or poppits, the options below allow you to add these. We do not change them but simply add them to the order.

We know some homebrewers are more picky than others, so please keep in mind that these are USED kegs. Some of these kegs are probably 30 years old. Do not expect new kegs. If you are looking for new kegs, please check out our new kegs. We try and have quality kegs available at all times. With this said, they are going to show normal wear and tear. We try not to purchase from Pepsi or Coke to avoid heavily used kegs. We are not implying that our kegs are not quality...we just want to avoid any misunderstandings.  Most of the kegs have black protective tops and bottoms, some are blue.  We may have a few green, red or yellow tops.  If you want a particular color, please indicate that at checkout time and we will try to accommodate you.

If you are unhappy with your used 5 Gallon Cornelius Kegs for any reason, we will gladly take them back. The purchaser will be responsible for return shipping charges.

Rating Used keg's in good shape with very minor exception

Keg arrived pressurized, in good shape. A post o-ring tore when I broke the keg down to clean. Since I expect to replace those any way, not a big deal. Still a 5-star purchase. - Reviewed by on 7/14/2014

Rating 5 Gallon Cornelius Keg

I ordered 2 of these, and was happy that they shipped quickly, and arrived under pressure. The free set of gaskets is a nice add-on. The kegs arrived in decent shape - one looked brand new aside from a couple of dents, and was stamped 2006 on the lid. The other was in pretty rough shape, but cleaned up fine. They are both in service now, and are working great. - Reviewed by on 6/9/2014

Rating Just As Advertised

Anytime you purchase something used over the internet there is some risk and apprehension. In this case nothing to worry about! 3 Corny's well packaged and delivered quickly. There was some soda residue as indicated but quickly cleaned up and put back into service. Free O-ring set made it a one stop purchase. Definitely recommend. - Reviewed by on 4/19/2014

Rating They are fine for the price, but need minor modifications

My Kegs arrived just fine. No damage or pressure leaks. However they required some modification to get them to where I would like them to be. First off, I received Firestone brand kegs instead of Cornelius brand. If you research these on google, one main issue I found is that they use plastic "gas in" dip tubes, which can warp and break over time. My were pretty beat up on my kegs. When I looked to replace them all I could find was Stainless steel at my local HBS. Therefore after more research, I read that people were drilling out these ports to fit the SS fitting. IF you get one of these Firestone kegs, you can use a 5/16in carbide drill bit (and veggie oil as lube) and drill out the port to fit the SS dip tube. **wear safety glasses** I did it for both of my kegs and both hold pressure no problem. This was just a hassle to deal with after this purchase, hence the 3/5 stars. - Reviewed by on 4/2/2014

Rating Good kegs, great customer service

I purchased 2 of these kegs with both arriving exactly when promised. Both arrived under pressure with no apparent issues. I had to clean both as expected of used kegs. First one worked amazingly without issue. The second had an issue with the gas post. I contacted AIH and they were immediately helpful and responsive. From the information to helping me understand the issue, consistent contact via eMail and even the calls back to follow up I was very impressed. AIH corrected the issue and I now have 2 great kegs. Thanks! - Reviewed by on 3/31/2014

Rating Corny used kegs

Well received 2 corny kegs - used- One seemed to be in OK shape the other looks like it has been to Baghdad and back. Both kegs arrived with pressure. Of course I replaced all seals that I could obtain. One keg was dirty( to be expected ) the other very very dirty - a few dents, that I was able to pound out, of course that was the keg that had a bent pickup tube also. Was able to straighten out. Not very impressed comparing to what I have bought in the past. Will buy locally next time, to see what I am actually buying. - Reviewed by on 3/31/2014

Kegs just arrived. They are holding pressure and appear to be in pretty good shape. I would recommend and will probably get a couple more myself. - Reviewed by on 3/26/2014

Rating A good find

Purchased two of these and received them promptly. One is nearly perfect - good seal with minimal pressure, the other has a bent dip tube and the seal is a bit finicky but it will hold pressure if you figure out where the lid wants to sit. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase, I just wish the second one was as good as the first one. - Reviewed by on 3/21/2014

Rating Nice Used Keg

I received my corny several weeks ago. It had mold inside and had to be cleaned and sanitized as I expected. I removed the Japanese characters and installed all new "O" rings. I polished it with stainless steel rouge and an electric polisher. Looks better than a new one! I then filled it with a wheat beer I brewed and am currently enjoying it. I need one more and will order very soon. Thanks AIH! Cheers. - Reviewed by on 2/19/2014

Rating One out of two ain't bad...

I picked up two used Corny kegs from AIH to fill out my new 3 tap keezer (along with with the requisite replacement poppets, O-rings, etc.). Both arrived in good time, and I sanitized them and swapped out the wear items to get them ready for a big party Superbowl weekend. One worked great (hooray! Seltzer on tap). The other apparently has a warped/bent mouth, which can only be sealed if the lid is finagled into just the right position. It was a bit of a shock to discover that, even with the replacement O-ring seated properly, a continuous gurgle of IPA had slowly seeped up between the lid and the mouth, and had dribbled all over the bottom of the kegerator. So, several splashy, sloppy re-seatings later, I've stemmed the flow from the bent lip, but still have a deep freezer to empty, thaw, and climb into to clean. Hooray. So, yeah. Good price, but caveat emptor on those used kegs. Two stars for the one out of two kegs that wasn't a nightmare. - Reviewed by on 2/6/2014

Q: Do the rubber handles and the rubber base come off? If so, what would the height be without? Thank you in advance.
Asked by: - 4/16/2014

Q: How tall are these kegs?
Asked by: - 1/21/2014
A: There are several brands of ball lock kegs that we commonly stock. Our average keg is 25" tall, but if you are looking for a specific brand or height I would recommend stating that in the comments section when you place your order. From there, we can choose kegs that best meet your needs.
