Fantastic Beer!

This was my very first attempt at home brewing. The recipe was easy to follow and even allowed for some screw ups. I ended up with a great tasting beer that my friends thought was better than many commercial beers. I will definitely brew this one again, this time I'll bourbon barrel condition it!

Good value

I've brewed this kit three times. First time as five gallon, as per instructions, came out a little on weak/bland side. Second time as four gallon, much better flavor and good dry finish. Third time, I used as base for wee-heavy, made 2 1/2 gallon batch, instead of five gallon, came out very easy drinking sweet, but still dry finish, perfect for cool fall evening.

Mild Beer

I just put it in the secondary so I have not had a chance to really taste this beer. The samples I did have had a good taste. I usually drink pale ales so this beer is much milder and not as complex. Can't wait to get it in the keg.

Great beer for the cost!

I'm new to home brewing and found this beer really easy to make.
