They're Baaaack!!

2.5 Gallon Ball Lock Keg w/ Rubber Handles

ISO 9001 and NSF certified.

This is the mini version of your five gallon keg. The rubber base and handles protect the keg when knocked over or dropped. When you flip your keg, the rubber handles allow for it to be drained easily unlike the single metal handle varieties. These kegs are built to last a lifetime!

14.5" tall, 8.25" diameter

Need a socket to remove the post? You can find it here.

If you are just getting into kegging you will need a kegging setup to go with these kegs. We sell picnic tap systems, tower systems, and kegerator systems.

Solid, but sharp edges
I got two of these little kegs, and one 5gal of same manufacture. They are clean and look well built. BE CAREFUL because the opening on ALL of them is SUPER SHARP! They seem to have a slight burr around the rim and I have sliced open my fingers twice now. Both the 5gal and the 2.5gal got me. (Assuming I'll have to take a dremel to the rims to sand them smooth before I use them again.)

High quality
This little keg is great quality and loads of value for the price. It's perfect for splitting a batch with a friend or choosing to keg some and bottle the rest for more versatility. So far it's been just as advertised with no problems.

Fantastic
Superb quality and a great size make this a perfect companion for the usual 5 gallon corny kegs. AIH has done a great job with this one.

Great Design
High quality design, keg arrived in perfect condition. Small enough to fit in a regular refrigerator so you can take a brew to visit a friend, but if you do this you'll need to remember to bring some form of CO2 with you to maintain keg pressure. A great design that has opened up a lot of possibilities for splitting batches (dry hopping, oak chips, etc) or just for taking some beer with you and avoiding the hassle of bottling.

Great Kegs
I brew with a Picobrew Zymatic, so these are the perfect size. I wish these had been available (especially at this price) when I bought the metal handled ones (I have 3 of those) or the used 3 gallon ones (2 of those). These are far superior.

Great for small spaces or small batches
I've just purchased my second pair of these 1/2 size kegs. I have a small keezer that won't even fit 3 full size corny kegs, but with the compressor shelf and stacking, I can fit 4 or 5 of these smaller kegs. Bear in mind, while they will stack nicely when disconnected, you have to set them off-center or put boards between them to stack with the gas and beer lines in place. I received my first 2 kegs quickly and in pristine condition. Others have complained about sharp edges on the opening, but mine were no worse than my old 5-gal kegs (perhaps the manufacturer saw some of those complaints). You still should be careful of the edges, of course. I only have two tiny nits to pick. First, the gasket on the lid is very thick and spongy. That may be good in the long run, but it makes it a little squirrelly when engaging the lid. Second, they have a pretty good coating of oil from the manufacturing. Just be sure you clean them thoroughly. Filling with a hot soap solution for about 20 minutes and a light brushing did the trick for me. I currently have a 2.5 Gal batch of sparkling mead in one of these and a 1/2 batch of cider in another. I plan to condition/carb beer and cider in my 5-gal kegs (stored in the conditioning fridge), then do an airless transfer into the small kegs for serving. This let's me do both small batches and 5-Gal batches, while still keeping my serving space fairly compact. Finally, catching these on sale makes them all the better. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone who needs a keg for small spaces or small batches.

Great Keg
Just purchased my second 2.5 gallon keg. Both arrived quickly and am very pleased with the product. Very well made and still pressurized when I got them. Excellent price and product.

Great little keg
This is a great little keg. Just the right size for my mini fridge. I put half my batch in these and bottle the other half. Will definitely get more of these.
