New and Improved Design features the following improvements:

Thicker insulation. This will not only help maintain cooler temperatures better, but will also keep the cooler from being so floppy. It is not rigid so it is still easy for storing, but should not flop as much and rest on the airlock the way the old did.

A thicker liner. This will keep the cooler more durable and also help with temperature control.

A better quality/ designed zipper to accommodate the thicker lining and foam.

Finally an inexpensive and easy solution to keeping your homebrewed beer fermentation temperatures in control!

Fermenting your homebrew at the right temperature is one of the critical factors in making good beer.

Let the temperature get too warm, and your beer will suffer!  The typical desired ale fermentation ranges are 59-72 degrees F.  Add in the fact that active fermentation for a 5 gallon batch can raise temperatures 3-5 degrees F!

Forget about dealing with that messy homemade swamp cooler anymore trying to keep your beer cold.  Cool Brewing Fermentation Cooler is designed specifically to accommodate standard 6.5 and 5 gallon fermenters and carboys.  Neatly and easily keep your fermentation temperatures in check.  Just add ice packs, ice, (frozen 2-liters work great) or anything cold and switch out as needed to reach the desired temperature.

Save time and effort in that The Cool Brewing Fermentation Cooler is sealed, insulated and 100% waterproof so it will efficiently and neatly keep your temperatures in check.  When you?re done, the Cool Brewing Fermentation Cooler easily folds up for storage until the next brew day!

Rating These Bags are Awesome!
The Cool Brew bags are perfect for those home brewers who don't have an extra fermentation cooler. I was able to keep my fermentation temperatures at the lower end of the scale with three 1-liter frozen water bottles. On two occasions, I had the misfortune of a blowout during fermentation and this bag kept the mess contained. They are a bit of pain to clean but well worth the trouble. I fully recommend this product!! - Reviewed by on 12/30/2013

Q: I found the dimensions on the "Cool Brew" jacket, and have a few more questions: What is the material of construction? Approximately how thick is the jacket? Is there a drawstring or some other type of closure at the top? Is the lining waterproof?
Asked by: - 1/16/2015
A: The cooler is made out of a durable nylon exterior similar to what a backpack is made out of. It has a proprietary insulation around 7mm thick and a vinyl waterproof liner. The top is sealed with a dual zipper so you can zip around a blow off tube if desired and still seal all the way to keep insulated.

Q: You noted an 8gal fermenter will fit in the bag; does this still allow for moderate room for frozen bottlers, or ice packs to be placed around the fermenter?
Asked by: - 2/8/2014
A: We were referring to one of our 7.9 gallon bucket fermenters. This vessel would allow adequate room for cooling materials such as ice packs.
