Delicious IPA

Has a fruity flavor similar to a local ipa called Mountain Candy. Depends on what you like but I will make this again.

Great start

I brewed this last week and saw very active fermentation within 12 hours in the pail (dry yeast). After a couple of days the airlock stopped and now the brew is in slow fermentation. Me thinks we have a winner! I will update soon.

Not a great beer

Yeast took several days to become active and the taste is somewhat off. Not bitter, like an IPA should be. (AIH Note: this is a traditional English IPA and is designed for more maltiness and less bitterness when compared to many of today's American IPAs. Also note that doing a yeast starter will help fermentation, especially when brewing a higher gravity beer. Please feel free to call, email or live chat with us regarding any questions you may have.)
