This is a new vendors first run of ball lock disconnects. There is a defect in the initial run. The design was made using the largest gauge post o'ring available, because of this, the disconnect does not seal properly using the smaller gauge o'rings. The smaller gauge o'rings were industry standard. As a result, the majority of soda kegs and o'rings currently available are of the smaller gauge, only the currently made New kegs use the larger gauge. The disconnect works perfectly with the larger o'ring. This is only an issue with the gas side disconnect.
The disconnect will include one of the larger post o'rings.
Gas ball lock disconnects (White). You have a choice of a 1/4" barb fitting or a 1/4" MFL fitting. The plunger inside these disconnects are all Stainless Steel rather than plastic/nylon/stainless. The MFL is nice for quick changing lines or adding other equipment without cutting your lines. If ordering the MFl, be sure to order the 1/4" or 3/8" female hose nipple for your MFL fitting!
Check the size of your regulator line and hose, most gas line is larger than the 1/4" barb!
You must choose either MFL or 1/4" barb to complete order, 1/4" barb is chosen by default.
