The gas line set up assumes you keep the CO2 bottle outside of your kegerator and run the line inside to a "T" connector:
- 6 feet of line to connect the regulator to a "T" connector
- 6 feet of line & gas disconnect for the first keg (long so you can bring
the keg outside of the fridge to shake/force carbonate)
- 3 feet of line and gas disconnect for the second keg
Most people put the faucets through the side wall, and the 4-1/8" shank is long enough for most refrigerators - it will fit as long as the wall thickness doesn't exceed 2-3/8". Assembly is simple, drill two 7/8" holes through the wall above the top of your kegs, slip the shank through and attach the brass nut. Connect the tail piece assembly to the shank, the other end goes to your corny keg. Attach the faucets to the outside of the shank with the included faucet wrench. Hook up the CO2 and you are ready to go!
Regular barbed beer disconnects will be supplied unless you upgrade to the MFL (screw on barb) disconnect fittings.
You can also replace the gas 'T' connector with a manifold with 2 shutoffs to isolate one keg while you are force carbonating another if you'd rather just flip the handle instead of pulling off the disconnect.
Keep an extra keg around for line cleaning! Fill with at least 4 gallons of cleaning solution (so you don't use all your CO2) and pump through your lines between kegs. Work the faucet open & closed and run a gallon through, let stand overnight and then flush with water.
We know some homebrewers are more picky than others, so please keep in mind that these are USED kegs. Some of these kegs are probably 30 years old. Do not expect new kegs. If you are looking for new kegs, please check out our new kegs. We try and have quality kegs available at all times. With this said, they are going to show normal wear and tear. We try not to purchase from Pepsi or Coke to avoid heavily used kegs. We are not implying that our kegs are not quality...we just want to avoid any misunderstandings.
