Will not stay sealed

This new design of the lid does not provide a reliable seal. After sanitizing the lid and silicone gasket ring, I pushed it into the mouth of the bubbler, only to have it pop back up. After a few comical attempts, I took it apart, dried it, and then it stuck a bit better, but still felt like it wanted to pop out. A quick Internet search showed this is a very common problem; an entire reddit thread devoted to it. Iím annoyed that I wasnít warned, and more annoyed that there doesnít seem to be a screw-on lid option. There is a company online selling a 3D printed clamp solution but it gets bad reviews. Iíd avoid this lid, and the BMB carboy in general based on how poorly this works.

Works Perfectly

I'm a Big Mouth Bubbler fan for a variety of reasons, but even more so now that I can run 2 stoppers - one for the blow-off or airlock, and the other for a thermowell.
