Yuengling Clone

Ok, just finished side by side test of the clone and original Traditional Yuengling bottle. My wife did the set-up so I did not see. I picked the Clone easily over the bottle. It was creamer, could be because my carbonation 10psi for ten days. The clone is a great recipe. Brew it! J.Hall Illinois

Should wait long enough to allow me to brew and taste before demanding a review.

Not in the keg yet.

very close to the actual Yuengling brand but better. Will buy again

Always on tap

Since Yuengling uses corn in their recipe, I am thinking of substituting one pound of the base 2-row with two pounds of corn maize. Regardless, this is a staple beer in my keezer. No matter your beer preference, everyone enjoys this one.

As close as it gets

I brewed this for a friend who mainly drinks Yuengling. I brewed it as a lager with no changes to the recipe. We had a blind taste test between the original and the one I brewed. Both tasted very close to each other. He tasted back and forth between the two and he chose the one he thought was the original. It was not. The winner was the one I brewed from the AIH all grain kit. If you like the original, you canít go wrong with this kit.
