Q: I have an existing bottling bucket with a spigot that is about 4 years old. The spigot is leaking horribly. I have tried tightening the nut but the washer just slips through the hole making the leak worse. Do you feel I should replace the entire spigot or just the washer? Do you sell just the washer?
A: the Italian bottling spigot is a bit more robust and less prone to leaking and comes with two gaskets for inside and outside the bucket. They can be found on item ID 24-4882
Q: Which side of the bucket does the washer go? inside, or outside?
A: For the best sanitation practice, the washer should go on the inside of the bucket.
Q: I have a 1/2 inch hole drilled in a glass 6 gallon carboy do you have a 1/2 inch spigot that would work I would need to get the nut through the opening at the top
A: for bottling spigots at this time anything that would be able to bridge the sidewall of a carboy would be a 3/4" thread
Q: I have a fermentation tank with a 1.25 inch hole drilled for the spigot. Do you have a spigot that requires this hole size?
A: The widest spigot we have that would be similar is a 1" bottling spigot from item ID 24-4882
