Q: Hello what is the max weight this is rated for? I have a 20" diameter 34 gal skirted kettle that turns out to be too big for pretty much all the home brew burners available.
A: We do not recommend exceeding 200lbs on the burner. We have had customers reinforce the frame using cement blocks.
Q: How much weight can this burner handle?
A: we do not recommend exceeding 200lbs on the burner
Q: Is it safe to use this indoors?
A: Wedo not reccomend using these indoors. You would need to have the proper ventilation along with saftey measures in place for the propane burner to operate safely
Q: Every other burner I have found that is remotely close to this in btu's are jet burners. Is this a jet burner? If not how can you get this many btu out of a simple 4" high pressure burner?
A: The burner orifice and the regulator PSI help to boost the overall BTu output to the higher level we are able to achive on the burner
Q: Hey, I ordered one of these a couple years ago and have loved it! The nut on the connection to the burner base came a little bit loose one time though and flamed out and burned the hose. I need to replace it now, but not sure where I can find a replacement for it...do you have the part or can you direct me somewhere that would? Having trouble finding the high-flow line with regulator like you have.
A: Item #35-4295 Would be the same propane regulator at 30psi and stainless line used on this burner when shipped to use for a replacement
Q: Will this burner be an overkill for a 20 gallon kettle?
A: This burner would work perfect for a 15-20 gallon kettle

Q: In stock ready to ship?

Q: Will burner adjust to low simmer?
A: The burner flame is fully adjustable, and should be able to keep a low simmer going for you
Q: How much weight can it handle and can you get a wind screen for it?
A: The stand is rated for up to 250#, but we have had customers use it successfully with 30 and 55 gallon kettles. The burner comes with a wind screen attached, but if you are looking for another option you will have to get one fabricated to your specifications. Thanks for the question!
Q: Want to make sure this not a jet burner. Is the heating surface a true 18 inches?
A: This burner has a 5 inch output disc. The heating surface is not 18", but the full surface of the vessel will be covered by the flame when the burner is on high.
Q: How loud is it? I have a Blichmann SS Floor Burner and it whispers.
A: This item isn't extremely loud but it is louder than the Blichmann Floor burner. Thanks!
Q: What burner would you recommend for sanke kegs with a 15.5 diameter?
A: Thanks for the question, Duane. For a vessel with a 15.5" diameter I would suggest going with these 18" burners. This would provide more stability for a larger vessel. Cheers!
