Questions and Answers
Smooth, less grainy, moderate malt flavor. Basic malt for all beer styles. 2 Row grains also available in a 50 pound. Slightly darker than 2-Row Brewers Malt.
Flavor contributions: warm malty
Origin - USA
All homebrew grains are sold by the pound.
You also have the ability to add tenths of pound amounts.
Nice Malt
I used this in a smash beer that was heavily hopped with Comet, but the malt came through a bit, and provided a nice sweet background, typical of a Pale Ale malt. I ordered the grains crushed, and they were crushed well, and I got my typical efficiency out of them. I would order again.

Great Service
There are plenty of places to purchase small batches of milled grain, but what I like most about Adventures in Homebrewing is that they package it in a vacuum sealed bag. That way I can purchase my next couple batches all at one time and they'll keep longer. Thanks guys for that extra level of service.

Q:
How do I enter a decimal for milled grains? I tried 10.5, 10.50 and the website said I had not completed all sections.
Asked by:
Eric Heuekshoven
- 9/1/2019
A:
The decimals can be entered as 10.5 in this case for 10 and 1 half pounds. We were not able to replicate the error on our end so if you are still having issues adding the item we can be contacted at 313-277-2739 Ext 1 to go over the order and help complete if needed

Q:
WHat is the difference between this malt and this one: Item Number:24-1927A vs Item Number:24-1928A?
Asked by:
William Peck
- 4/12/2017
A:
1928a is Briess' standard 2 row which is kilned slightly lighter and has a lower SRM. The Pale it is kilned slightly higher which will contribute slightly more malt flavor and a deeper color
