Q: Are the fittings connected to the manifold with teflon tape (i.e., repairable) or glued in?
A: the fittings are attached at the manufacturer level with pipe seal compound
Q: Would this 3 way manifold be ok to use with propane?
A: These manifolds would only be recommended for use with co2, nitrogen or air.
Q: Is this available with 5/16 fittings instead of 3/8?
A: Currently these fittings would have the 3/8" barb size which would still work fine with 5/16" ID tubing as this is currently what we outfit our systems with at this time
Q: I have this distributor and it's working great. Since the end plug appears to have same threads as the 3 C02 feeds, what parts do I need to order to utilize that opening? I.e., I'll unscrew the plug and I'd like to screw in a 4th line w/ same shutoff, and ballock gas connect, and shank. I have the extra faucent. Thanks.
A: All of the thread sizes moving into the body of the manifold should be a 1/4" female NPT thread
Q: I’m considering one of these 3-way manifolds. At the moment 2-way would do, but the extra “way” would leave room for future expansion. Are the shutoff valves sufficiently leak proof that the unused third-way would not drain down my gas tank over time?
A: Yes. As long as you keep the valve shut you shouldn't have any problems with co2 leaking.
