Q: Where does one obtain the pressure release for the "come" pin lock kegs?
A: the terminal relief valves in the standard pin lock lids was previously sold under part iD 91-2532 but is currently unavailable from the manufacturer. Item C314-3048 can be used in place of the standard pin lock keg lid to provide a manual relief valve if needed

A: This keg is 5 gallons and typically used for dispersive soda, beer and wine, but can be pressurized and used to dispense water as well

I just received 2 used pin lock kegs from you and the socket wrench I use does work with the posts. Is there a different socket size I need and do you sell them?
A: There are a few other Pin Lock sockets on the market whose inner diameter or "point pattern" is a bit small to accommodate all the post sizes coke used for the pin lock kegs when they were in service. Our part under 91-2520 will fit all the post styles including the wider based Italian or AEB and SAFER kegs as well
Q: I am considering storing nitric acid in these, so you know what type of stainless there are made of?
A: the kegs for the most part are 304 Food Grade Stainless steel. These are intended for Beverage storage and service, and cannont guarantee the kegs will be safe for use with other purposes, and would be done so at the end users risk

Q: What size are the posts for this Coke keg and do you sell ball lock posts that fit this keg?
A: we do sell post conversion kits from Pin lock to ball lock. The kegs do have varying post sizes as Coke used serveral differnet manufacturers of the kegs over the years. if using the conversion kits on an order, a note can be put into the comments before checking out to have the kegs shipped, match the post conversions on the order and our shippign team can accomodate this request
Q: I have the tanks. I need both the male & female fittings going in & out of the tanks. Do you sell those parts?
A: If your looking for the posts and quick disconnects these can be ordered from our site. The female side, or the quick disconnect itself is universal and can be ordered in a set with item#60-2640. The posts or male side are specific to the manufacturer of the keg so this would need to be determined before ordering a replacement set of used in and out posts
Q: I just got this keg and went to remove the posts for cleaning. My socket doesn't fit.. Never had this issue with any other pin lock keg before... Why is this one special?
A: Depending on the manufacturer of the keg some pinlock kegs will work with the 8 point post socket but others will require the use of a the 12 point socket we sell under part #91-2520. Otherwise a crescent wrench on the hex of the post can be used as well
Q: do you need anything more other than taps to get beer out?
A: You would need a c02 source to carbonate the beer and pressurize the keg for serving, and a tap of some sorts with the proper quick disconnect. A kit as basic as item #99-KegSysEPin with the addition of a co2 source would work fine
Q: Are any of these kegs equipped with pressure relief valves?
A: The kegs do not ship with PRV's
