500 ml Plastic P.E.T. Bottles do I need for 5 gallon beer ?
A: 38-40 500 ml bottles for 5 gallons of product
Q: How much would it be if I bought 1000 of these with caps?

Q: Good Morning,
Our company, Validere Technologies, is interested in buying several 1L HDPE (instead of PET) containers. Can you please provide a quote as soon as possible so the company can place an order?
Validere Technologies Inc
A: We currently only have access to the PET bottles from our vendor at this time.
Q: What is the thickness of the PET? Are the bottles rigid / non-crushable?
A: The bottles are not a Rigid material and do have a soft sidewall on them
Q: What is the thread count for the twist off?
A: These bottles have "standard" soda bottle thread, there is 3 threads.
Q: How many fluid ounces does a bottle hold?
A: These bottle hold 16.9 fl.oz. It's a nice overflowing pint!
Q: Can the bottle caps for these bottles be reused again? Never used pet bottles for beer how long do they hold?
A: After you break the seal on the cap, the caps should not be reused for carbonating. We sell these bottles for those making soda typically, though you could bottle beer in them if you truly would prefer. With a new sealed P.E.T. cap your beer would "hold" as long as necessary. We would still recommend using crown capped amber glass bottles for your beer.
Q: I was told 2 liter soda bottles are good keeping CO2 in, but their flaw is they let oxygen in. Do these bottles suffer the same flaw?
A: These bottles work great for those making soda, you wont be having that issue with any of our bottles until you open them. Once a carbonated beverage is opened, the headspace which was once purged with CO2 becomes compromised with oxygen.
Q: Will the Carbonator cap fit on these bottles?
A: The Carbonator cap will fit these bottles.
Q: Is it ok to use these plastic bottles more than once...ie. plastic leaching. Are they BPA free?
A: These are BPA free and are designed to be cleaned, sanitized, re-capped, and reused. Great for making soda!
Q: What are the dimensions of these bottles?
A: The height of the bottle is 8" and the base diameter is 3".
