Q: I have a PicoBrew Model C, and I’m looking for another keg to carbonate in and serve from. This keg is the right size, but what else would I need to carbonate and serve from this keg? So far, I’ve been carbonating naturally with sugar, but I might switch to forced CO2 carbonation. Thanks!
A: 99-KegSysEBall paired with a co2 tank would be the basic gear needed to carbonate and serve from the ball lock kegs
Q: Question: Want to use (2) 1.75 Gal Kegs in Refrigerator, one for cold water other for seltzer coming from a carbonator. Which Barbed Ball Lock disconnects would be correct for my applications.
A: Part number 60-2639, Our Ball Lock Disconnect Set will work!
Q: Hi. Do these new kegs need to be passivated before first fill?
A: The kegs will be passivated by the manufacturer before shipping but can be done again once received for peace of mind if preferred
Q: How often should you thoroughly clean the keg and all its parts? Every time you want to fill up with a new beer? Or is just a good rinse and sanitize good enough.
A: You should clean the keg thoroughly every time before you fill it with something new.
Q: Do the poppets come off for replacement if needed? If so are they the standard ones like the 5gal tanks. Thanks!
A: Yes, the poppets and post assemblies would be identical to the 5 gallon kegs, and use item ID C314-3613 as a replacement poppet
Q: Are these stack-able with fittings and lines?
A: These would not be able to be stacked with disconnects attached
Q: Where is this made?
No Answers have been submitted yet.
Q: Are the top and bottom rubber parts removable?
A: The top and bottom of the keg are adheared to the steel and would not be able to be removed from the keg
Q: Can I get this with pin lock connectors? IF SO SAME PRICE?
A: Pin lock kegs are not currently sold as new stock by any supplier as the patent rights to the kegs are still owned by Coke a Cola at this time.
Q: What are the post diameter/sizes for this keg? Do you have a pin lock post that works with this keg?
A: The outter post diamete is 11/16 for the socket you would need. The kegs do not have a pin lock pos tthat would be able to be threded on and used by design
Q: When do you expect to get the 1.75 gallon kegs in stock?
A: Hoping to receive and list the kegs before the close of the year
