Guys this stuff is awesome. I used only 3/4 of the lemon oil when I kegged. The taste is good as it is but adding a slice of lemon to it takes it to a whole new level. At 5% ABV and the smoothness the ladies love it.

Great Beer
Great taste and very smooth. I thought there was too much lemon until I had a second. Did not even know I was drinking. Reminds me of Sam Adams porch sipper. Will buy again.

Nice brew
First a warning, this brew will be very active - you might want to consider a good blow off tube. That out of the way, I have to say I am pretty impressed with the end result. The flavor is mild, hint of lemon - not as strong as I thought it would be. Good warm weather brew, and the friends love it. Definitely picking more of this up.

Lemon Shandy
I took the advice of other reviewers and only used half the dram of lemon flavoring. Plenty lemony and will probably use 1/4 next time. Good beer that is currently on tap and gets better every few days.

Not the greatest
Not a terrible beer, but not close to the shandies that I'm used to. It was too hoppy for a shandy. Lemon oil just didn't do the trick for a real shandy. Lots of settled out white sludge in the bottles. Not sure if it was the yeast or what? I used the safale 05...

Most Refreshing brew
Brewed as directed adding full dram of lemon oil. Sample at bottling was a bit harsh and very lemony. Amazing what a couple of weeks aging can accomplish. Magnifico! A must do for next summer's fun.

Modified for mango
Brewed as recommended. 1.5 weeks in primary. 3 days in secondary. Then added one habanero for 36 hours, kegged and added 2 mango drams. Similar to founders mango Magnifico. It is a total hit with brewmasters of breweries in my area, fellow home brewers and craft beer enthusiasts. I'm ordering again. Had people tell me they would rather buy mine than founders version.

Delicious summer treat
I've made this now with both Orange cream flavoring and Lemon. Both are delicious. My first batch of Lemon shandy was gone in two weeks, friends loved it.

Popular With the Younger Crowd
I brewed this for a 4th of July party at the request of my kids and their friends. Not my style of beer, but it was gone by the end of the day along with the IPA and Red Ale I had on tap. I cut back on the lemon flavor, as some suggested, using only 1 1/4 ozs instead of the full 2 ozs. I thought the lemon was still too strong, but everyone loved it. Don't gasp, but I found that if i mixed a little of it with the red ale, it yielded a nice, subtle flavor that complimented the malty red and produced a nice brew for a hot summer day. I might cut the lemon back to 1 oz this weekend when I brew it again. . . . easy to brew and easy to drink!

Too Strong Lemon Flavor
Kit was great and instructions were easy. Sampled at bottling time before adding lemon flavor and beer tasted great. Put 2oz of Lemon flavoring in bottling bucket, and it seems to be way too much. Lemon flavoring is overpowering and reminds me of what Lemon Pledge smells like. If I could do it over I think I would only use 1oz or maybe even less of the flavoring.
