Adventures Amber Ale Recipe Kit

Adventures Amber has won many rewards for many of our customers. I've been told it has even won the pale ale category on more than one occasion. Cluster bittering hops give this ale a clean bitter profile with a subtle saaz finish.

Good Kit. Tasty Beer.
This is a really good amber ale kit. We fermented one week in primary, one in secondary then bottled it. I completely agree with the other reviewer. After 2 week in the bottle it had an unbalanced flavor profile to me, with a stronger hops flavor and a pretty thin body. Another 2 weeks conditioning in the bottle, it's a different beer. The hops mellows out and becomes much more balanced and the body is fuller. The ultimate test of the recipe is that the wives in our beer group drank a case of it. Enough said.

Another great AIH kit
Go ahead and order this kit if you're on the fence. It's a really good amber ale. Really nice balance, smooth and easy to drink. Just went 3 weeks primary on it and after two weeks in the bottle, it's good to go. Used harvested 05 on this one. Very pleased.

Five stars
I'm not really an Amber Ale fan, but I ordered this based on a review and am glad I did. I left it in the primary for two weeks and then four weeks in the bottle. It's not hoppy, not malty, very smooth and mild. Low alcohol easy drinker. To me, it has a slightly fruity (apricot? fig?) aroma and taste.

Good from the keg
Ordered this beer on a whim. Did the partial boil due to colder temp this winter. Have a 3 gal keg and bottled 20 extra. At first the beer was good from the keg with a slight stronger bitterness than I expected. Needless to say forgot about the bottles stored. Just cracked them open and they are a total different beer. This will be another order. PS I'll change the rating to 10 stars with proper age.
