Q: Do you have replacement thrust washers for this?
A: we d not currently stock the replacement washers-this would likely need to go through anvil directly for replacement parts
Q: What’s the manufacturer’s warranty for the Anvil pump?
A: Limited Warranty 1. ANVIL Brewing Equipment warrants to the original purchaser that this product will be free from manufacturing defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase by the customer. Proof of purchase is required.
Q: Is there a ss head option that would have threaded connections?
A: We do not offer alternate head options for the pump at this time. The current pump head is designed to fit and be clamped with a 1/2" ID tubing.
Q: Is this pump magnetic drive?
A: This is a magnetic driven impeller
Q: Is the anvil brew pump suitable for wine transfer as well as beer and is it self priming?
A: The pump is not self priming but can be safely used for other purposes besides beer like wine cider coffee tea etc
Q: is it food grade material?
A: all materials that make product contact would be food grade
Q: Pump will not run. The motor hums but I had to take the pump housing apart and turn the propeller to get it to start pumping. WTF
A: Sorry to hear about the troubles! The impeller may have not seated properly during the final assembly of the pump form the manufacturer, and the disassembly and reseating does typically resolve any issues with it not spinning. Q: Can this pump handle cold break and hop pellet debris when being used as a whirlpool pump?
A: the pump would be best to have a filter or screen of some sort in place before hitting the pump head to limit clogging
Q: It appears to be just an on/off swtich with no flow control. What psi is attained if flow is shut off. Looking for use as a hot Lauder pump and silicon tube only rated to 30 psi for 1/2 I'd. And would have to restict out flow down to match out flow of mash.
A: The manufacturer currently does not list this spec related tot he pump to provide that information. The max lift would be 7ft and the gallons per minute flow rate is 3 would be under 10PSI
Q: Is this good for use as a wine transfer.
A: the pump would need to be primed before powering on but would great as a wine transfer pump in addition to beer

A: The head is a HDPE material that typically would only withstand up to 260 temps max
