Easy to brew and looked great in color. Still in secondary, with a transfer to keg probably this weekend. So, no idea beyond what I’ve listed thus far.

A MUST HAVE!!!

I brewed this one a while ago and I used real apricot puree. It came out FANTASTIC!!! I could not keep friends away from my keg tap. I was so nice on a hot summer day. Reodering it again and again!!!

Balanced sweetness and fruit

Brewed this beer for my daughter-in-law. Nice balance between sweetness and apricot flavor. One of her favorites!

5 Stars for This One

My first fruit brew. Followed the instructions, I don't bother reading the OG and FG. I used a conical and gave it a secondary in a glass carboy - now my standard process. Kegged half and bottled half. It is awesome. I did not find the taste artificial, which was my worry after reading other comments. Try putting a piece of orange in when drinking - the orange hits you first and the Apricot hits you in a second wave, interesting effect. Time to order a second kit!

On the Fence...

Before I say anything else, for the record this was the second recipe that my Dad and I brewed after just getting into homebrew. I obsessed about getting us all the right equipment except a hydrometer. We used the California liquid yeast from White Labs, pumped in a bunch of O2 and the fermentation took off like a freight train at 67 degrees. I let it sit in primary for 3 solid weeks until no activity whatsoever and into the keg for carbonation. Now about the flavor...using just less than the 4oz of Apricot it's a little overpowering and man is this beer sweet and "boozie". Our FG is still high (1.032ish), but it tastes strong and that's coming from a friend who owns a successful brewery. Buyer beware...it's not bad just different than expected. The description sounded like a light Summer brew and this is heavy and strong.
