On the Fence...
Before I say anything else, for the record this was the second recipe that my Dad and I brewed after just getting into homebrew. I obsessed about getting us all the right equipment except a hydrometer. We used the California liquid yeast from White Labs, pumped in a bunch of O2 and the fermentation took off like a freight train at 67 degrees. I let it sit in primary for 3 solid weeks until no activity whatsoever and into the keg for carbonation. Now about the flavor...using just less than the 4oz of Apricot it's a little overpowering and man is this beer sweet and "boozie". Our FG is still high (1.032ish), but it tastes strong and that's coming from a friend who owns a successful brewery. Buyer beware...it's not bad just different than expected. The description sounded like a light Summer brew and this is heavy and strong.

Please go back to the Apricot concentrate
Please go back to the larger bottle of Apricot concentrate. The small bottle of apricot essence gave this brew a slight artificial taste. Still drinkable.

Very Worthwhile Beer
This was my first all grain brew. Very easy and very tasty. I would recommend to anyone. Light crisp and perfectly balanced. Very low hops but not too sweet. Apricot is well present but not cloying.

Awesome summer beer!
Brewed this beer a few months ago and it is awesome! I did a yeast starter and let it sit for 2 weeks in the primary before kegging. All of my friends love it and it's going quickly; I definitely recommend this kit.
