Q: I am interested in buying my husband a home brew kit for Christmas. We have a dual tap kegerator so I would this one interests me but I'm also CLUELESS. What if any add on do you recommend? Or is this good for a start?
A: This kit includes everything you would need for someone with an existing kegerator to switch over their lines to accommodate the Cornelius style soda keg. The only other item besides ingredients that would be needed if they don't already have one, would be a 5 gallon stainless steel boiling kettle to produce the beer.
Q: Only home brewing I've done is with a Mr Beer kit so far. I have a kegerator and want to start brewing my own beer for use in that. Aside from items included in the kit are there any items I would have to purchase to brew my first batch? Thank you!
A: I would also recommend either a 5 gallon plastic or glass carboy for secondary fermentation.
Q: I sent a question a few days ago but never received a response. I already have a commercial keg setup in my house, does this homebrew kit involve all of the necessary equipment to brew your clone kits like the HopSlam IPA??
Your assistance is much appreciated,
A: You can brew out hop slam clone with this kit, but I would also recommend purchasing a glass or plastic 5 gallon carboy.
Q: I currently have a commercial kegerator and understand that this will convert my current lines to Homebrew, my question is around the brewing equipment. Does this kit have all of the necessary equipment to brew your Hopslam Clone All Grain Recipe?
A: Upgrade #6 includes the equipment used for all grain brewing, not this specific kit.
Q: Do I need a kegerator for this item? I want to order a beginners brewing kit for my husband for his b-day, and have no idea what i need. We do not have a kegerator
A: You will need refrigeration for this item (kegerator, standard fridge, chest freezer). Call the store for more information if you still need help, we will be happy to accommodate you.
Q: Does the keg have a Pressure release valve in it. And does it come with the hoses ?
A: These kits will come with kegs that have pressure relief valves if available. It does not come with hoses, it is designed for use for customers who want to start homebrewing and have a commercial kegerator already.
Q: Does the Keg that comes with this have a Pressure Relieve Valve?
