Belgian Pilsner Malt - 1 Pound

Light in color and low in protein. Our Pilsen is made from the finest European two-row barley. This malt is well modified and can easily be mashed with a single – temperature infusion. Due to the high enzymatic power it can be used up to 100% of the grain bill in all types of beer.

Love Biscuty?

If you love a good Belgian "Biscuitty" beer this malt is great. I've used it up to 90% of the grain bill in about 6 different beers i have made and really enjoy that biscuit flavor. The strength of the flavor mellows out after about a week in the keg.

Good grains, poor service

The grains were OK, but AIH did not mill them properly. I asked for them milled and they came slightly cracked. Unfortunately there are only 2 options - milled or not milled. A rep informed me that if we want our grains fully milled or only partially milled, we have to specify that in the comments section, otherwise we get what we get. It would be nice if it said that someplace and we did not have to find out the hard way.
