Quite nice!

I have just started home brewing and tried this kit as my second batch. I was quite satisfied with the quality of the ingredients, and it has turned into a pretty good brew! I left it 5 days in the primary fermenter (I was leaving town for a couple of weeks and did not want to leave it ) and 20 days in secondary. It is now 3 1/2 weeks since bottling. The first bottle I tried at two weeks had a bit of a stronger yeasty character than I liked, but it is really starting to smooth out as it ages a bit. Flavor is really good, nice citrus note, and the spice comes through well. I am sure it will continue to get better! Definitely a beer to try again!

Great Session Beer

A very easy drinking beer. The dried orange peel and corriander came through nicely after a couple of weeks of aging. Nice on a hot summer day with a slice of orange. We compared the beer with a glass of Hoegaarden beer. This has much more flavor and body.
