Q: Hi, I need Kala Jo [Black Barley}.
I want to use it as medicine. It has to be RAW.
Not roasted or processed in anyways.
Is that what you are selling?
A: This product has been roasted. We do not currently carry a raw black barley
Q: Is your black barley organic?
A: the grains are grown using organic practices but are not certified organic on the package
Q: Do you ship 1 lb black barley to Ireland? and the cost?
A: We can process and ship orders to Ireland. The cost for shipping will vary based on the amount ordered and the postal code shipped to, which can be checked by populating a cart on the site, and entering in your shipping address. We always recommend checking to see what items will be considered passible by local customs when ordering food items or perishables
Q: The answers say this is unmalted, but do you guys sell a malted black (patent) malt? I cannot locate it on your site.
A: At this time the cloesest would be the Carafa 3 malt through Weyermann
Q: Is your barley roasted? Can I get it unroasted? Is it really dark purple?
A: This barely will be roasted and has a deep jet black coloration
Q: your description of this barley states "UN-malted", but in your Q&A you answered that this barley is "Malted"....which is it??
A: The previous answer was given in error referring to another product, this is an Un-malted Black Barley
Q: Is this barley the "hull-less" type? (i.e.: NOT hulled or pearled) grows without the big hull?
Can you please send me a small sample? Ann Lachman, PO Box 324, Crestone, CO 81131. I have a small cereal business, and if this would work for me, i would buy in 55b shipments. thanks.

Q: Is this black malted barley or black roasted barley?
A: The is an Un Malted product
Q: What is the maltster for this black barley?
A: Currently our Black Barley comes from Muntons.
