Great ingredients but......

The packing slip mentioned a grain bag but there wasn't one. The wrong recipe sheet was included. It took a long time to get shipped.

Easy Recipe

Easy recipe to follow. Very active fermentation. Laagering it at this point for at least a month or until I have room in my kegerator! LOL

Delicous black lager with Kveik

Made a 5 gallon batch, I added an extra pound of DME to bring OG to 1.06, final gravity 1.014 for a 6% ABV. Fermented at 20 degrees Celsius, mellowed for a month and 3 weeks in the bottle with 120 grams of corn sugar.

Tastes good, not to style

The SRM of the recipe was much lighter than expected, but otherwise it was a well balanced recipe.

Excellent Recipe

Lots of positive feedback on this one at my Oktoberfest party. Malty, chocolate, biscuit, clean. Satisfying but not heavy. Used White Labs 940 yeast with a big starter and Brulosopher's quick lager method. Will do this one again.
