Q: How does this attach to the inside of the lid? is there a nut?
A: there is an internally threaded nut on the Tri Clamp fitting portion that attached to the lid, and the opposite side with the barb would remain outside the lid as shown in the as shown in the 2nd photo on the items page
Q: What is the inner diameter of all of your triclamp fittings? If it's 1/2", is it A TRUE 1/2", full flow, all the way from end to end, or are there restrictions? If there are restrictions, would these ever be available in 5/8", AKA: true 1/2" I.D.?
A: The 1/2" barb fitting will have a restriction down to a 3/8" opening. We do sell a 5/8" barb that will be closer to a true 1/2" but this would need to be ordered independently from the kit
Q: I have a 14.5 gallon fermenator with a hole that takes a #71/2 stopper. Does this assembly fit that exactly?
A: This assembly is made exclusively for Blichmann Conical Fermenters. It comes with the bulkhead needed to attach the tri-clamp blow off kit to your conical lid. If the conical in questions is the 14.5 gal Blichmann Conical, you will be all set.
