Q: How does this unit work with a glass carboy?
A: This unit is not made for the glass carboys more for the fast fermenters
Q: What all comes with the BrewJacket Immersion Pro for 299.00?

No Answers have been submitted yet.
Q: Will this be effective in a SS Brewtech 14 gallon fermenter?
A: The unit may be able to provide some temp control but is designed for smaller units and would not be as accurate in larger vessels
Q: Does this unit comes with the Immersion Pro Upgraded Control Board? In other words, is this the new one or the old one?
A: These items drop ship from the vendor directly and would be the most current system they offer at the time your order is placed
Q: Will this work with the small (3 gallon) Wide Mouth fermonsters?
A: The brewjacekt fermentation rod would be too tall to fit that model of fermenter
Q: I have an SS brew tech brew bucket, would this work?

Q: Can I use this to warm my wort to kettle souring temps?
A: kettle souring is typically done in the 110-120 range but can be done as low 90 degrees. The system can get the 90 range but if higher temps are needed would not be the best product for this process
Q: I've read in some reviews that the fan is loud. This is a concern, since I have limited space to store it during fermentation. Just how loud is it? Are we comparing it to a chainsaw, a dustbuster, a bathroom exhaust fan, or an electric toothbrush?
A: The fas does emit some noise and can be compared to a standard hairdryer on its lowest setting
Q: I have a FastFerment 7 gallon conical hanging in my garage. The temperature in the garage has been around 60° - 65°. The temperature of the beer has yet to get below 45°. The beer temperature had been running about 1-2° above the setting temperature. I decrease the temperature setting 1° per day. I'm now running about 5° above the set temperature. Any suggestions.
A: The low 40s / high 30s is usually the lowest the system will get, regardless of what the external temp is. If the ambient temp were 85°, it would still get to around the low 40s.
Secondly, since its a Fast Ferment, the jacket installation is make or break for performance. If there are any gaps at all, it will look like performance just hits a wall. Things will be working well, then around 10 or 15 below ambient, the temp just refuses to change.
Here are a few suggestions:
1. follow the installation steps on these videos: FF Wall Mount: https://vimeo.com/184025329 and FF Stand: https://vimeo.com/185713355
2. Try to toss their panels into a clothing dryer on medium heat for 30 minutes. This will force the insulation to re-fluff if it got compressed during shipment, use, or storage.
Q: Is the brew jacket pro kit come with a bucket and lid?
A: The system does not currently ship with a bucket and lid included
Q: Does the Company still have an intention of marketing a unit that both heats and chills? Previous Answers to this question indicated that a new design was on the horizon.
A: The unit will provide temps that can Achieve up to 35º above or below ambient and hold that temp to 0.3º F
Q: What would need to buy extra to go with this unit brew jacket immersion
A: if you already own the fermenter you'd be using the system on, the unit would ship ready to use when it arrives
Q: Can I order it if I have a fermentasaurus? Im worried that the lid will not fit it.
A: while the depth of the immersion stem would fit the Fermentasaurus the lid will likely need modified to accommodate the immersion stem
Q: Does this fit Fermentosaurous?
A: the length of the immersion stem would be able to fit the Fermentasouarus but the lid itself would need to be modified to accommodate the brewjacket
Q: I think that I need a new cooling chip for my unit. Where do I order it?
A: Our vendor offers replacement bases that would include the heat exchange chip. We can help get the base replaced if you bought the unit from us. We would just ask that you shoot us an email or give us a call with a little more information. We can be reached at [email protected] or 313-277-2739

Q: According to Brew Jacket, to use this with the Catalyst requires additional spacers (so it doesn't interfere with the valve) and a conical jacket. Is the jacket provided in this package a conical or is it for a carboy/bucket?
A: The jacket provided should be abel to cover the catalyst, but the addtional spacers would ben eeded to limit the probe on the jacket form bottoming out
