After I week, do I leave beer in the fermenter for a second week, of do I proceed
A: This is up to the brewers choice there. The batch can be left for a full two weeks to allow more yeast to settle to be dumped from the valve in the fast fermenter and then bottled after that. Otherwise, the batch is technically safe to bottle ones the final gravity has been reached
Q: If you do not use employ a two stage fermentation process how long should you leave the beer in the fermenting bucket until you bottle?
A: For 1 week, after fermentation is complete. Be sure to take a hydrometer reading to insure fermentation is complete.
