Brewers Best Watermelon Wheat

The Watermelon Wheat was one of three brews I made for our Forth of July party. Surprisingly, this beat out the Cream Ale and the Irish Red as the overwhelming favorite. This brew had great flavor, it's easy drinking and refreshing. I just started homebrewing this year and this kit was very easy to brew. I'll be brewing it again for sure.

This was the second batch of beer I ever made, and it was great! I really enjoyed the beer, and so did everyone else that tried it; from IPA loving beer fans to people who didn't like beer previously. It was easy, and tasted fantastic. I am making another batch of it in a few days. In response to billr up above: the watermelon concentrate that comes with it is labelled very clearly: " All Natural Watermelon Extract" It is actually REAL watermelon concentrate, which is really cool and surprised me. I had never seen such a thing. It is a delicious beer, and I am absolutely making it again, and probably a few more times after that.

This beer was really good and very popular with every person who tried, including people who didn't like beer. The real watermelon extract was awesome. I wasn't expecting that, but it made this beer just that much better. 5/5 stars, will brew again.

First ever batch of beer I ever made that was so bad, as tested by 4 people, deemed to be undrinkable. The fake jolley-rancher smell and taste was horrendous! Dumped the whole keg! I'll bet the base wheat ale was excellent, but stay away from that 4oz bottle of fake watermelon additive! I'd give it zero stars but that isn't an option.
