Hop Rhizomes are available for pre-order now.  The rhizomes are harvested in the spring and are typically available for shipment April thru June. Orders begin shipping as soon as we receive our stock.

Good yielding, high alpha hop, moderate disease resistance, susceptible to spider mite. Grows well in dry climates. Does not grow well in moist climates. Great ornamental hop.

Alpha rating: 11â€Ã¢€Å“13% Description: Very bitter; medium-heavy aroma with a spicy, resiny, grapefruit character. Use: Primarily for bittering, although some brewers appreciate the aroma, even using Chinook as a dry hop.

Use in pale ale, IPA, lagers, steam beer, heavy-bodied dark ales. Substitutes (bittering): Galena, Nugget,

Hops are hardy in U.S. Department of Agriculture plant hardiness zones 3 through 8.
