Q: DO YOU NEED THESE WHEN USING COOPER'S IRISH SYOUT WITH 1 LB LIQUID MALT EXTRACT.MEAN TO SAY IS THIS COMBO MORE LIKLEY TO BE MORE BANCED.SAW SOMEONE SAY CORNSTARCH IN A PINCH,HAD ANY LUCK WITH THAT?
A: The carbonation drops are added before bottling to provide additional sugars the yeast use to carbontate bottles. These are not typically intended for fermentation. Corn sugar can be used for bottling or added to fermentation for increased body, but would not be wise to use corn starch as this would not have good effect on a beer
Q: How effective is this product when trying to shoot for a specific volume of CO2?
A: The drops can be portion by cutting if you needed to gather a lesser or higher amount than a single tab will provide for a 12oz bottle
Q: Can these be used with the Pico C brewing system instead of the carbonating sugar?
A: yes, these tabs can be used in place of the priming sugar in the correct dosage for the batch size
Q: What dosage do you recommend for 16oz bottle?
A: 1 drop if a lower rate of co1 is needed otherwise 1.5 drops would be the best bet for a 16oz bottle
Q: Do you ship here in the Philippines?
A: We can process and ship orders to the Philippines. The option to change over the ship to country and postal code information is offered in the cart to provide the international shipping rates. This would not include any duties or taxes to be paid at the time of import.
Q: What dose do you recommend for hard cider, 750 ml bottles?
A: 1-2 drops should be sufficient for a 750ml bottle
Q: My batch of beer did not carbonate after 3 weeks of setting up (improper mixing of priming sugar, my fault, 1st batch of beer) I was advised to add 1 tablet of the Coopers Carb Drops to each bottle (16oz.). After about 3 days I can tell carbonation has begun!!! My question is how long should I wait before trying my beer??? Thanx!
A: I advise waiting two weeks in order for it to properly carbonate.
