Creme Fraiche Direct Set Cultures are used for the making Creme Fraiche that can be drain to make a creamy Mascarpone. This is a great cheese to cook with or just used a a rich, creamy spread.
1 pack is enough to set 1 quart of milk and is enough to make about 1 pound of Creme Fraiche. Just add 1 packet to your milk as the recipe calls for it.
If stored properly in a freezer the cultures will last up to 2 years.
