This spread is so mild, it is commonly used as substitute for yogurt. This Fromage Blanc Starter Culture includes 4 direct-set starter cultures to begin making fromage blanc. These cultures are one-time-use only and cannot be recultured. Cultures are easy to use, and require almost no maintenance or care. Store in your freezer until ready to use and culture at room temperature (72-77 F). Direct-set cultures contain both starter culture and rennet.
