I want to add one of these to a 5 gallon corny keg. How would I flare and fit this? Will I need other equipment to attach it?
A: this can be attached or bridged to the inlet gas feed tube with a small piece of plexible tubing. Otherwise you would need a flaring tool to get the proper flare on the top of the tub if you intend to replce it with the exisiting tube on the inside of the keg
Q: After you use this to carb the beer, do you then serve through this as well? Does this cloudy the beer?
A: This would be used on the gas inside dip tube and still served through the stnadardl iquid out tube on the keg.
Q: Is there a recommended PSI during use with this stone?
A: This will vary depending on how much co2 is needed for carbonating the liquid but anywhere from 5-30 psi is typical
Q: 3 questions:
1. Is the diffuser stone removable from the tube?
2. What micron is the stone?
3. Is it possible to get a longer dip tube?
A: The stone is not removable, and is a 5 micron stone. Unfortunately the dip tube only comes in one size, but it will work well with any 5 gallon cornelius style keg.
Q: So does this just connect to the in post on your keg? And how does it actually connect?
A: This dip tube is inserted up through the dip tube hole from inside the keg. You then will flare the top of the tube with a dip tube o-ring ( or two ) under the flare, and tighten your keg post on as usual.
Q: Is this tube for corny kegs or is this for commercal keg?
A: This is meant for Cornelius kegs.
