Fromage Blanc Direct Set Cultures are used for the making Fromage Blanc. A french spreading cheese very similar to cream cheese but with a more rich and deep flavor.
1 pack is enough to set 1 gallon of milk and is enough to make about 2 pounds of Fromage Blanc. Just add 1 packet to your milk as the recipe calls for it.
If stored properly in a freezer the cultures will last up to 2 years.
