Smooth pale ale
This is only my second batch and it came out fantastic, just the right amount of hops for a crowd pleasing beer.

Thumbs Up!
Just celebrated our 50th Wedding anniversary and I brewed this for the event along with a Kolsch and a Mackinaw Island Red which all 3 were extract kits. The MIR was bottled and the GLPA and Kolsch were kegged. All three were big hits and they all had their distinct flavors (Good) and I will be brewing all three again, however will be using all grain recipe as I am now set up for this.

Crowd pleaser every time
I keep coming back to this one brewing it at least once a month. It is easy to drink and very smooth. One of the best beers I brew. I usually use the us-05 yeast but I am trying out one of the liquid yeast options this time. Had to put a blow off hose on my bucket with the white labs yeast this time around. Flavor is crisp and refreshing with little to no bitterness. The hop profile is citrusy as opposed to dry and bitter like some pale ales. If you are on the fence buy it...I usually add this to one of my other kit orders to get $5 shipping (Flat Rate Great Lakes Shipping). Awesome brew!!

Great Lakes Pale Ale
WOW! Really impressed with this one. Light enough in the hop flavor to not offend my less appreciative beer buddies.

Great lakes ale
Just tried one after 3 weeks bottle aging @ 53 degrees. I'm very pleased with it. I did add 1/2 ounce of my homegrown hops for flavoring--at 45 min.--so it's a little different than stock. I recommend this one to those who like PA's.

This pale ale is great!
2 weeks in the fermenter. 4 weeks bottle conditioned. Definitely a crowd pleaser. I'd brew an all grain batch if I could get free shipping. Either way I'm going to brew this again!
