4" High Pressure Casting with Orifice Block and Air Shutter.

Perfect for full boils and all-grain brewing.

Please note that previous model came with 2 adjustable screws to adjust airflow. Newer model does not. The plate is still adjustable.

Add the brass orifice to connect the burner to your regulator hose if you don't have one.

Propane Troubleshooting:

If you are not getting the best flame possible out of your propane burner, you may have triggered a safety valve in the propane regulator body. This occurs when the gas flow through the regulator is too great. You will need to disconnect the regulator from your propane tank to release the safety valve. While connecting your regulator to your propane tank, it is very important that the propane tank and all needle valves are completely closed. Once the regulator is correctly connected to your closed tank, open the propane tank slowly to allow gas to flow into the regulator. You can now open the needle valve enough to ignite your burner. Once the burner is lit you can slowly open the needle valve until you reach the desired flame intensity.

Nice power, just a little noisy
Bought two of these for a Wallace type brew stand and they didn't disappoint. Brought 8 gallons of mash water up to temp in just under half an hour, 15 gallons up to sparge temp in 45 minutes, and boiled 20+ gallons easily. Clean burning with no soot on the pots. Only downside is they're a little noisy. Not terrible but I notice the difference after turning it off.

Perfect Resolution!!!
No more black soot all over my pot! Beautiful huge blue flame. I received this burner a couple of hours ago and I am almost ready to start my second batch of beer of the day! Really fast and clean burn. I did not get the optional orifice as my regulator hose has an orifice permanently connected to it. I also use this burner for Thanksgiving turkey and for frying french fries for the kids swim meet concession stand. What a great improvement over my old burner.

Problem solved!
This (along with the new orifice) solved my feeble boil burner problem. I just finished a 10 gallon batch. It took 13 gallons to a rolling boil in far less time than I used to spend trying to get 5 gallons going. It was a serious boil, too. I had to slow it down when I realized that I was going to boil off the planned two gallons way before it was time to end the boil! At first I was disappointed because I re-used the orifice from my old burner and it just couldn't light this one up properly. $4 for a new orifice and it's doing an excellent job now.

I'm going to start off by saying I like my tall turkey fryer. I swapped out my burner for this one. Best money I ever spent. Plus I saved a ton by using my own stand. My pot doesn't get black anymore and I heat my water up much faster. You can use your old orifice or buy a new one. It's only $4. I bought a new one.
