Q: Hi, does this Keg Faucet Adaptor Assembly (Ball Lock) come in a self-closing version?
A: we do not currently offer the part with a self closing faucet. the adapter pieces can be purchased a la carte to assemble with a self closing faucet if needed
Q: instead of Keg Faucet Adapter Assembly (Ball Lock), can I buy just the Faucet Adapter part ? Thank you!
A: the fitting needed to mate the disconnect and faucet would be item ID 40-1884
Q: Can you recommend a growler filler tube that is compatible with this faucet?
A: 40-3124 this part ID should be the filler needed to use with this model of faucet
Q: I am looking at the Keg Faucet Adaptor Assembly (Ball Lock). What is the purpose of the faucet shank wrench and is it needed?
A: the wrench is used to loosen and remove the coupling nut that holds the faucet in place for cleaning and servicing
Q: Normally to balance the system you need a length of hose to provide resistance. Does the faucet have a resistance?
A: Withotu the tubing the pressure used for serving would need to be decreased to limit foaming.
Q: Is it possible to use the stout faucet with this adaptor?
A: A stout facuet can be threaded into and used on this coupler
Q: can this be used on corn keg with nitro and wine?
also is usps shipping available for this item(cheaper rate than ups)
A: This can be used with nitrogen as well. It does not function as well as a nitro faucet with restrictor plate but has no issue serving. The lowest cost option will be shown based on full ship to address in the cart on the site to get the proper rate
Q: How tall will this faucet extend above a ball lock corny keg? My fridge is height challenged.
A: I would allow 6 inches for clearance
Q: I was wondering if this tap would work on the 128oz Mancan Growler system?
A: The mancan looks to be using a standard ball lock disconnect so this should work just fine on that product
Q: what all is included with this item?
A: as shown in thye photo, the faucet, black tap handle, the adapter from the faucet thread to the 1/4" female MFl to attach to the disconnect, and the disconnect itself. It ships ready to attach to a keg for serving
Q: I want to pressurize my tank with a hand pump. Do you have a separate ball lock fitting and hose for that purpose? Do the adapter assemblies fit either access port or are they different diameters and specific to only one port on the tank?
A: The disconnects on ball lock and pin lok kegs are specific to each post size for inlet and outlet feed. We do manufacture a keg hand pump that can be found on item #99-4990 on the site
Q: So? No need for tubing? Just making sure.
A: Correct, This adapter eliminates the tubing and provides a true draft faucet for dispensing
Q: I have both ball lock and pin lock kegs. Can the ball lock disconnect be taken off and swapped with a pin lock disconnect or do I need to buy a separate one for each style keg?
A: The adapter uses a threaded connection so a 1/4" MFL disconnect in either ball lock or pin lock can be used
Q: I’m confused. Yongwoo Kim on 7/14/15 asked, “Do you have option to change “Perlick Stainless Steel 630ss Perl Faucet”?” Answer, “Because of the forward seal on the perlick faucets they will not work with the adaptor” The very next question by Jason Tuttle on 3/16/16 asked “Are there any brand forward sealing faucet that will work with this?” Answer; “It is a standard faucet fitting, and can be used with our Perlick brand faucets if you choose.” Isn’t this contradictory? Am I missing something? Will it work with your Perlick faucets or any other faucets that forward seal?
A: the 2nd set of information was posted in error and has been removed, it is correct that due to the forward set design of Perlick brand faucets, that they will not work with this adapter. We have not tired them with some of the newer forward seat design faucets on the market to confirm or deny they would work.
Q: is this fits over 1/6 America keg and can i innovate to fit co2 addition ?
A: This product will only work with Cornelius soda style keg connections and is not designed for use with a Sanke, or standard keg coupler
Q: Does this pour well without excessive foaming? I was always under the impression you needed beer line of a minimum length to get a good pour. Do you serve at a lower pressure with this faucet?
A: A slower or reduced PSI pour would be needed with these faucets, as there is no line to restrict flow, and slow the pressure of the beer. The foaming should be the same as a draft line pour, once the proper pressure is found for that particular keg.
Q: Can this faucet adaptor be put on my stainless steel pot?
A: You would need an adapter that would go from 1/4 MFL to the standard 1/2" FPT coupling the is typically on kettles. We do not carry an adapter like that.
Q: Will this item work with .... Stout Faucet Item Number:40-2563 ?
A: Yes, the stout faucet will attach to this adapter. Thanks for the question!
Q: Will you sell just the faucet adapter? I found the coupling nut sold separately and I already have a compatible faucet laying around? So all I need are a couple of the adapters and a couple nuts.
A: If you search item number 40-1884 that will be what you're looking for. Thanks for the question!
Q: Do you have option to change "Perlick Stainless Steel 630ss Perl Faucet"?
A: Because of the forward seal on the perlick faucets they will not work with the adaptor.
