"A
little while ago a friend had given me a pin lock keg as a graduation
present. Unfortunately it didn't fit my ball lock system so it just
kinda sat for awhile. Eventually I saw your conversion kit for a good
price and jumped on it. Shipped fast and works great, next batch will
utilize my new addition. Thanks for everything!" - Chris L.

Pin lock to Ball lock

These ball lock posts work great. Very easy to change out the pin lock posts to ball locks. I've had zero leaks. Just remember the posts with the notches on the bottom are the gas side.

Not As Straight Forward As You Would Think

I bought a used 3 Gal. Coca Cola keg with pin locks. I bought this ball lock kit to replace the pin locks. After installing the dip tube O-Rings, I screwed on the ball lock posts. But started wondering what seals between the posts and the dip tubes. Apparently nothing, because the keg leaked. After placing extra post O-Rings that I happened to have onto the keg posts, I was able to seal the keg from leaking. That fixed leak # 1. The liquid & gas posts came with O-Rings installed. But when I connected the beer or gas lines to the keg posts, they leaked. I noticed that the O-Rings that were installed on the posts were almost flush with the post diameter. But the old O-Rings on the pin lock posts were bulging out farther. They had a slightly fatter cross section profile. So after a little sanitizing and greasing, I replaced the new ones with the old ones. Walla, no leaks. I would love to hear from AIH personnel, who could investigate and address and fully explain these issues. Thank You.
