My interesting use
So I don't usually review things, although I probably should...and wasn't going to, until an email actually addressed to me from the company asked for one, and I was so impressed by them reaching out personally that I decided to. So for my review - I've heard some people use this in sauces and marinades, and even one person who wanted to cut back on alcohol but still liked the taste, so they made a mocktail of sorts with it (which I thought was GENIUS), but my use was a bit different. I used it in a batch of cold brew coffee I make. I steep a specific flavor beans I found from a market near my house that is bourbon pecan. The sweetness of the pecan is quite pronounced, in a good way, that I can tell it's there, but I wanted more of a bourbon flavor so I added a few dashes of this to the mix. I make 64 ounces of cold brew at a time, which is usually enough for a week, and while I don't have a specific amount I used, I'm going to be using trial and error with the next couple batches to nail it down, but I could certainly taste a bit of smokiness in my coffee, which was a perfect compliment to the sweetness. I can certainly imagine myself using this again in a barbeque sauce, or even a buttercream icing when baking.
