Clean and crisp. This Kolsch will have slight fruity esters. The yeast can give off a white wine like character. Best fermented cool (58°F-65°F) to get close to that crisp almost lager like profile. Bitter!
I've made a lot of beer to date and this one is my biggest disappointment. I kegged it and lagered it for 3 months. It's clear and clean, but the bitter aftertaste....and hangover made this one the first one I will most likely throw out to use the keg for something pleasing to consume.

Nice beer
This was awful when it is young. The early tastings were really bad - quite bitter. I am drinking one now that went through primary, secondary and a couple of weeks of bottle conditioning and it is quite nice now. Nice clean, light bodied, very good mid flavor, very drinkable. Finishes clean and somewhat sweet. Great warm weather beer. Just give it 4 weeks.

Good Light Beer
I never had a Kolsch style beer before. I didn't know what to expect. Brewing it was quite easy. I opted to move it to a secondary to try to get some clarity. Overall, once finished, it tasted good. It was smooth and light. It had some sweet notes to it and the hops complemented it very well.

Excellent beer
I had never heard of this style of beer but I gave it a try and glad I did! Amazingly smooth clean crisp beer with a touch of a fruity after tone. I will be buying this again today!
