All Grain Brewers- This kit does include some extract to bring the gravity up while maintaining a useful efficiency. Mash between 150°F and 152°F for a 90 Minute Boil. 1 TSP Calcium Carbonate to Mash and Sparge Water.

Read the instructions the day before
The recipe calls for a special step to be performed the day prior to brew day. I didn't notice that until I was mashing the grain wondering what I was supposed to do with all that extra roasted grain. So I ended up steeping it in the collected wort for 30 minutes and everything came out great if different from the recipe.
