Q: I just pitched yeast today for this kit. When it's done I was thinking of bottling half in traditional wine bottles, and half in beer bottles and adding priming sugar and champagne yeast? What volume of CO2 would you recommend? And would I just measure the amount of corn sugar for my desired carb level? Or um open to suggestions?
A: You would need to make sure to skip the Potassium sorbate step in the instructions as this would inhibit a yeast from being able to carbonate. You can seperate the batch, and only add the sorbate to the half going itno the wine bottles. The amount of sugar used for carbonation will vary based on how much of a fizz you'd liek the wine to have, I normally reccomend about 1oz per gallon as a good rule of tumb for the priming or bottling sugar.
Q: I recently ordered the Mango Mai Tai and Pink Lemonade. Any idea on shipping dates yet? I know that you were looking at the end of March.
A: These should be headed out within the next few weeks. The Pink Lemonaid kits are due in to us shortly and we'll begin processing the orders ASAP when the kit is in stock
