Great beer with a little time
I don't see this batch lasting long. Gave this 2 w primary, 1 w secondary for dry hop, 3 w carb and 3 w in fridge to cold condition and it is getting really good! At the 2 w mark it was a little bland yet, but after the 3rd the malt profile was starting to come to play. The hops really shine through this one. If I made this again I'd use the liquid yeast vs the S-04 and their shipping is so fast I wouldn't hesitate to order liquid from them.

Great IPA
I brewed this one with a single difference to the directions and added the second round of hops two minutes earlier (17minutes versus 15) to obtain a desired IBU range. 1.5 weeks in primary and another 1.5 in secondary. After bottled for a single week they were carbonated nicely but there was a tingy, overpowering maltiness in the aroma but the hop profile was there. Overtime that completely went away and 3+ weeks after bottling this is a really fine example of an IPA. Had a friend of a friend, who is a certified BJCP judge review the beer and it scored a 42/50 being in the "excellent" range. Said it reminded him of one of the older Stone IPA recipes. Would absolutely brew this one again. Thanks, AIH!

Great brew!!
This was my 2nd brew and 1st IPA. What a great brew. Added 1oz of Amarillo hops during secondary. Wow, what a hop blast. Crisp, aromatic, very flavorful. Carbonated very well, got a thick head that lasts and lasts. Will be brewing this on a regular basis.
