Q: I'm trying to replace a gasket on an old Firestone ball lock corny keg. The cover is racetrack oval (flat sides). It seems to use a round gasket. The one I'm replacing seems to be about 4" OD x 3.5" ID. Do you have this? Which gasket do I need (large vs small racetrack gasket)?
A: The large square aided gasket here should fit the size of the longer edge is around 4”. The stained rounded Cornelius keg gaskets can work in a pinch on some tighter hinges lids as the racetrack kegs are normally flat sided in most but not all cases
Q: I ended up with a racetrack corny keg. A typical corny keg lid seal appears to fit but does not seal. You sell large and small seals for racetrack corny keg lids. What dimensions are critical for determining which seal to order? Does the same hold for buying one of your new racetrack lids? Are there two sizes?
A: Measuring the opening diameter of the lid would be best to determine what o ring is needed. The smaller o ring would be 3.25" or 3.5"
The lids (188-1000) are made to be used with both type of race track openings, so they will work with all race track kegs.
