Excellent - my new favorite beer

This is my first time making this beer, and the first time using liquid yeast. I didnít get a starter for my yeast but it seemed to do the trick just fine. It seemed to ferment a little faster than dry yeast. Wow, it turned out amazing. Itís really close to a blue moon. Stored at 68 degrees for 1 week in primary and same temp for secondary for 1 week. After bottling and storage at the same temp 3 weeks we cracked the first one open and have gone quickly though it.

Disappointed to the MAX!

I've brewed many batches of beer in my life and this was absolutley the worst beer ever. There is NO tangerine flavor at all! I only used half the ginger and even added 4 ounces of Tangerine essence at bottling and the ginger still over powered it! Base beer taste is boring and flat. All I taste is ginger. If you like flat tasting ginger beer-this kit is for you. Worst ever--Ug!!!

Good beer that's an easy brew

Brewed this following the recipe and it smelled amazing. It went into the fermenter at a higher OG of 1.050. Fermented for 2 weeks at 66F with WLP400 Belgian Wit yeast and put into secondary at 1.010 for 2 weeks. Bottled 2 weeks later with 5oz of priming sugar. Perfect amount of carbonation for what I was wanting. For me, the only suggestion I have would be to double the the tangerine and half the ginger since there is not really any tangerine coming through. Still, it's a great beer that I would make again.
