Raspberry Plunder Cream Ale Recipe Kit

A slightly different take on a Cream Ale. Rice syrups help to keep this beer dry to balance the sweetness of the Raspberry. Well balanced, malt and hops taking a back seat to the Raspberry aroma and flavor. Medium bodied.

A Great Summer Beer
While it's not fall, I am looking for a beer to make for my wife. She's not a fan of hops, so this was the perfect beer to make for her to ease her into homemade beer. The first sip the raspberry does hit you strong, but every sip after that it's not as up front and personal. I will be making this again next year but at the beginning of summer. This is a SOLID 4 star beer. Thanks AIH!

Fruit beer friends love this one
I'm not a fruity beer fan, but I love brewing beers that make my friends & family happy. This one is a big hit with the fruity beer fans. They tell me I have to keep it on the regular brew list. The raspberry flavor is subtle and the finish is dry. Not my favorite, but a big hit with the guys & gals who like the sweetness.

Great summer beer!
I brewed this beer for our annual family gathering. It was a hit. Everyone loved the flavor. The raspberry was very noticeable, but not overpowering. Light and refreshing on a hot summer day.

Better than any commercially available beer of it's kind!
This was my 8th installment in my homebrewing career and one of my most memorable. It has an incredible flavor that is not overwhelming. It gets better as it ages. I am buying it again, for my summer beer, on tap in my garage. Incredible!!

Better than expected
One of my first homebrews. I added 2 cups of pasturized raspberry/pomegranate puree at flame out. Primary for 8 days, secondary for the same. Kegged and force-carbed. My buddies poked fun for making a "girly beer", until they tried it. Very refreshing, easy to drink ale. Definitely stays on the list!
