Red Cheese Wax (1 pound)
Red cheese wax is timeless and traditional. Many hard cheeses are waxed prior to aging. This process helps to retain the moisture within the cheese, and protect it from external mould while the cheese is aged.
Used for waxing hard cheeses like cheddars. Heat wax in a metal melting bowl (placed in a pot of boiling water on the stove to above 71 degrees C (160 F) & dip the cheese each side into the wax until fully covered, with no holes.
